Develocity Build Cache

A local Build Cache lets you reuse outputs from your previous builds, so you can avoid time spent rebuilding unchanged outputs. Develocity’s distributed Build Cache takes caching even further, allowing you to share cached outputs across your entire development organization.

The Build Cache dramatically reduces build times by reusing outputs from previous builds, accelerating your development cycles.

Learn more about operating Develocity Build Cache by visiting the Administration Manual - Build Cache.

Support for the Develocity Build Cache node component will be discontinued at the end of 2026.
This means that versions of Develocity starting with Develocity 2027.1 will no longer support this component.

We strongly recommend that users of the Develocity Build Cache node start migrating their deployments to Develocity Edge.
Develocity Edge serves the same purpose as a remote build caching service for your build agents, but is designed to be simpler and more robust to operate.

The Develocity Edge User Manual provides all the information you need to configure and operate Develocity Edge.
